The challenges businesses face when navigating the complexities of cloud migration and optimizing IT infrastructure include dedicating resources, budget, and time as well as signficant technical hurdles. We're committed to helping companies understand their cloud business case and so they can make informed, confident decisions in modernizing their IT infrastructure.
We work together with AWS to conduct free, comprehensive IT infrastructure assessments, and then build a cloud business case to present to key stakeholders.
This migration assessment is step 1 in the AWS three-phase migration process: assess, mobilize, and migrate. After completion of this initial assessment, Stratus10 can help plan and implement subsequent phases, including accessing financial incentives offered by AWS and training your team to handle further migrations.
With the AWS assessment, your environments and costs are analyzed through the following elements.
Identify gaps to address during this assessment and planning through an initial migration readiness assessment of your organization.
A full Portfolio Assessment of current applications and infrastructure gathers information about VM configuration, CPU and memory utilization, operating systems, network connections, storage, and other relevant information. This data will be used to determine migration priorities as well as the characteristics of each application component to identify the ideal migration strategy for each application.
We perform a series of discovery interviews to gather more in-depth information about the on-premise infrastructure, deployment process, and operations for each application to better understand the current state.
The assessment culminates with an in-depth directional business case, which outlines the value of migration to AWS (based on the data that can be collected). After completion of this free assessment, we can help plan and implement the migration stages, including taking advantage of financial incentives offered by AWS. If you choose not to move forward after this assessment, there are absolutely no strings attached; you still receive your company's in-depth AWS migration assessment
